NOW Music se pone los pantalones acampanados y se luce con una corbata de lazo mientras regresa a la década de 1970 con su serie Yearbook para un examen musical exhaustivo de 1972.

Las ediciones de 4 CD (el habitual libro de tapa dura de lujo y la funda de cartón estándar) incluyen 80 pistas, y una versión de 3 LP de vinilo azul ofrece 50.

En cuanto a la versión de 4 CD, el primer disco ofrece temas de John Lennon, Rod Stewart, Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, Paul McCartney y Wings, Harry Nilsson, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan y muchos más.

El CD 2 se inclina hacia el glam rock/art rock con contribuciones de Roxy Music, Sweet, Slade, Alice Cooper y Mott The Hoople, pero también incluye canciones de Jeff Beck, Argent, Free, ELO, Hawkwind y termina con un éxito peculiar de Chuck Berry.

 

Edición de lujo de 4 CD

El tercer disco comienza con estilo con el tema de James Bond de Shirley Bassey, «Diamonds Are Forever», y adopta un ambiente relajado con temas de Andy Williams y Tony Christie (el lanzamiento original de «Is This The Way To) Amarillo». El soul está representado por The Stylistics, Diana Ross, Jackson 5, The O’Jays y otros. El CD cierra con «Family Affair» de Sly & The Family Stone.

El cuarto y último CD ofrece más de Elton John, Rod Stewart (a través de su voz en «In A Broken Dream» de Python Lee Jackson, que aparece de forma memorable en la banda sonora de la película de Lars Von Trier de 1996, «Breaking The Waves «), Sweet, Elvis Presley y Don McLean, e incluye «I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing» de The New Seekers.
