La edición complementaria «Extra» del Anuario NOW ’99 se lanzará en agosto en formato de set de 3 CD.
El anuario principal de 1999 fue todo un reto, simplemente por los éxitos de la época, pero esta versión «Extra» resulta sorprendentemente buena, sobre todo los CD 1 y 2, que incluyen temas de Duran Duran , Pet Shop Boys, Blondie , Eurythmics, Sheryl Crow , Culture Club, The Manics , Supergrass, The Cardigans , Suede, Electronic , Moby y muchos más.
El CD 3 vuelve a lo habitual, pero en general, creo que vale la pena comprarlo, y es bueno ver que se incluye el sencillo casi olvidado de Duran, ‘Electric Barbarella’. Fue lanzado en Estados Unidos en 1997 como el primer sencillo de Medazzaland , pero no se publicó en el Reino Unido hasta 1999 para promocionar la recopilación de éxitos Greatest .
